Keith Logue & Sons

Keith Logue & Sons is an Australian family owned business that has been established in Coffs Harbour since 1967. The Logue family has a history spanning four generations of offering quality and caring service.

Keith Logue a second generation funeral director was involved in the funeral industry in excess of 60 years. In the late 1940s, together with his father and two brothers, Keith commenced the funeral firm of H. Logue & Sons in Wellington, NSW.

From 1963 to 1967 Keith was employed by two leading Sydney funeral firms as a branch manager and work supervisor enabling him to gain valuable experience in the industry.

In March 1967 Keith and wife Margaret purchased the funeral firm of L & A Rayner in Coffs Harbour. Shortly after, the business name was changed to its present name. In 1976 Keith and Margaret’s son, Bob, who already had several years experience in the funeral industry in Sydney, returned home to join the family firm.

Bob and wife Debbie’s two sons Aaron and Ashley joined the family business in 2010, followed by daughter Candace in 2012 ensuring the experience and care offered continues for many years to come.

Acknowledgments and Awards

1995

Keith was awarded the prestigious R.B. ‘Ben Box Award’ in recognition of his significant contribution to better standards of service, education and ethics in the funeral industry.

2006

Bob received the Funeral Merit Award. This award is in recognition of his significant contribution and dedication to the funeral industry and for extensive knowledge and expertise in all aspects of the industry.

2010

Keith was presented the Award of Excellence by the Funeral Directors’ Association of NSW Limited. This award is in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the progress made by the Association during his thirty- four years continuous service to the State Committee and for his dedication to the funeral industry.

2011

Keith was a foundation member of the Funeral Directors’ Association of NSW Limited in 1977 and  served continually as a committee member until 2011. Upon his retirement as a committee member in October 2011 Keith was presented with Life Membership.

Bob was elected to a committee member position with the Funeral Directors’ Association of NSW.
