Plan a Meaningful Funeral Ceremony in Coffs Harbour
Your loved one’s journey was unlike any other, and their farewell should be too. Our aim is to help you plan a funeral ceremony that not only honours the past but also celebrates their enduring legacy.
We can assist with incorporating elements into a service that highlight your loved one’s contributions, values and the impact they had on the lives of others, fostering a sense of connection and remembrance for all who attend.
Making Every Ceremony Meaningful
A Ceremony As Personal As The Life It Celebrates
Here in Coffs Harbour, we’ve helped families celebrate the lives of farmers, teachers, surf lifesavers, and quiet heroes. Some wanted hymns and scripture in a local chapel, while others requested Beatles songs under a gum tree. Every family brings a different story and we consider it a privilege to help tell it.
Our caring team embraces the diversity of life and can seamlessly accommodate a wide spectrum of religious, spiritual, cultural and personal preferences. Whether you require military honours to commemorate their service, Masonic rites to uphold tradition, or want to explore non-traditional funeral ideas, we’ll ensure every detail reflects your loved one’s journey and your family’s wishes.

Answers to the Questions Families Ask Most
Whether you’re honouring tradition or exploring alternative funerals, we’re here to guide you with care and clarity. Here are some of the things families often ask us.
We want to personalise the service with unique tributes. What unusual requests have you accommodated?
We’ve arranged personalised tributes ranging from motorbike hearse escorts to custom coffin designs featuring photographic-quality image wraps. We’re open to all requests and strive to make each service unique, whether it involves a dove release, a personalised playlist, or displaying cherished memorabilia.
Can you accommodate my family’s cultural or religious traditions?
Whether your ceremony involves traditional rites, prayers, symbolic objects, or customs unique to your family or heritage, we’re here to honour them with care. In the past, our team has supported Catholic masses, Buddhist chants and Indigenous smoking ceremonies, and we’re always ready to adapt to different types of funerals.
Are outdoor services possible?
Yes, but local regulations do apply. For example, in Coffs Harbour memorials can be held in public places, but not with a coffin. Other towns, like Bellingen and Urunga, allow more flexibility. We’ll explain what’s possible based on your chosen location and help you plan accordingly.
Let’s Create a Farewell That Feels Right
Choosing the right type of ceremony is about honouring a life well lived. It also enables those left behind to feel supported, seen and at peace. Whether you’re planning ahead or experiencing a recent loss, we’re here to guide you with genuine care and personalised local experience.
