Passed peacefully at Coffs Harbour Health Campus. Late of Shoreline Coffs Harbour, formerly of Woolgoolga. Dearly beloved husband of Norma (dec’d). Loving father and father-in-law of Desmond & Therese, Helen & Brett Hurditch and Warren. Dearest pop of 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Dear brother and brother-in-law of June Wishart (dec’d) and Ernest & Margaret Saunders (both dec’d).

A kind-hearted gentleman, a good Engineer and generous man was Uncle Des. It was a pleasure to be in his company over the years. We enjoyed our last brief chat on his 92-nd birthday about our past engineering projects.
What a privaledge to have know Des for many years in Mullaway, we had many conversations, laughter & ideas, we got to know all the family from young to grown up, holidays spent at the Cabins! we were also so happy to go to Norma & Des wedding anniversary celebrations, we were blessed to have shared time with them in Mullaway, big part of my family!!
