If you are not sure what to say, start with what you feel. Write to the person you are missing, or offer comfort to those closest to them. Your words will be passed on to the family as part of their remembrance.

May we celebrate the life she lived, honour the memories she leaves behind and know that the love she shared will stay in our hearts forever .
It was a privilege being a friend of yours . We will always value the times we spent together over many years.
    A beautiful lady.

To Dear Melanie, Jeremy and the ’Taylor’ family, Chris, Tim and the ‘Bedford’ family,
We were so sad to hear that Dianne (your dearest mother, sister, aunty and heart of your family) had lost her long struggle with her illness. Dianne will always be remembered as a kind, loving, dignified and beautiful lady both in word and in deed. As part of your incredible and caring family she has been able to pass on to you all her own amazing qualities – what a legacy for you all!
We are sorry that we are unable to be with you today but will be online to join you at her ‘service’.
We wish you all long life.
    Karen and Will Hietbrink

    Dear Evol, Graham and Garry,
I am very sad and nostalgic preparing to watch the live service for our dear Dianne this morning.
Dianne and I were besties all through our high school years at Coffs High - from giggling little adolescents to young women. Diane's grin was the same then as that captured in the beautiful photo of her. I especially remember with fondness my sleep-overs at Korora with your kind and generous parents - loved those two!
Sad day today but wonderful memories remaining forever!
    My love to you all,
    Jan
