If you are not sure what to say, start with what you feel. Write to the person you are missing, or offer comfort to those closest to them. Your words will be passed on to the family as part of their remembrance.
I was passing through Coffs Harbour over the weekend and saw that Brendan had passed away. I have fond memories of working with Brendan at AirNSW in the 1980’s. Please accept my condolences.
Kind regards Ronda Ironfield (nee Sund) Sydney.
Dear O'Sullivan family. My thoughts and prayers are with you today and in the days to come. Brendan (still thought of by me as Mr O'Sullivan) was such a lovely man. He was always so welcoming and kind, and fun. I am going to miss seeing him at mass and around Sawtell. I am sending all my love to you all, and particularly to your Mum. xx
Dear OSullivan family,
We are truly sorry for the loss of your beloved husband and father.
We will cherish all the wonderful times we had with you all in Sawtell.
Brendan warmly welcomed us into your family and was sincerely loved by us all.
The Mcklaren family all send their love and are thinking of you in this difficult time.
My thoughts are with Maureen and family, my ex-students from St. John Paul College. Brendan was a true gentleman and a man of strong faith. May he rest in peace and may you be consoled by your memories of him.
