I am so sad to hear of Lesley's passing. She put up a good fight and she always had a positive attitude. She made me feel very welcome when I moved to the district 21 years ago and I will miss seeing her happy face around Mylestom. Sending my condolences to all her family.
When Lesley would visit us as little kids, and, later, as adults, she always showed up as a helping hand.
Whether it was folding washing or taking us to the pool or beach, she had a way of lightening the load without a fuss.
She was a great storyteller with a wonderful sense of humour and a generous heart.
She was part of our family as a lifelong friend and she will be sadly missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all her family and the many people whose lives she touched.
