    Debbie,
Sincere condolences to you and your family. I remember the many times Wayne came to visit in Asquith when we were kids. He will be missed by so many.

Dear Deb, Niesha, Shona, Travis and grandchildren,

Watching the livestream service brought back so many memories of cousin Wayne’s childhood trips to our farm in Saskatchewan. The family made the trip most summers. As the youngest of 4 boys, he would bounce out of the car after the long journey looking for adventure, his blond curls bobbing! Always with a big grin! He was ready to explore….Driving the little tractor and checking out the cows in the pasture!

Many years later we met you in Auckland, and again at your home in Coff’s, where we felt so welcome. He was a young man with a lovely family, who he loved dearly. Jochen enjoyed sharing the barbie with Wayne. And I have great memories of his trip to visit us here in Rocky Mountain House with Aunt Ruth and Travis.
I had so looked forward to our reunion on Vancouver Island last summer, which was sadly, not to be.

I wish you all courage and strength in the days to come.
Know you are all in our thoughts, as we move forward
    treasuring the memories.
    Much love,
Sharon Daniella and Carsten (Owens) Rübeling

    Dear Deb and Family,
We wish you peace, comfort, and strength. Although Wayne was my little brother, he was huge in our hearts. Not only was he a dearly loved brother, but a much cherished brother in law and uncle. His generous nature, out going personality, and ability to include all is a testament to his character. He will be missed. He will be forever remembered.
