R.I.P Dear Shirley Condolences to Cherrie Pete Jayden & there families.
Shirley was a neighbour of ours when we lived in Windermere Park and saw her sadness when she lost Pete & strength when she was first diagnosed with breast cancer my daughter Kelly use to take her to her appointments & check ups they would then go to lunch at a Cafe or club depending on how Shirl felt .Shirl always stayed positive thru out her treatment we made a few trips to St Mary's to my sister who was also going thru B C treatment & Shirl came with us and visited her brother who also lived not far from my sister and she hadn't seen for awhile. She would pop over for chats when I got home from work we talked about family our grandkids she was very proud of Jayden and his accomplishment he was same age as my eldest grandson like me she was also proud of all her kids grandkids & great grankids & loved them dearly. Kelly had a toy poodle that was attacked by another dog and didn't survive .Shirl being the caring lady she was was looking in the pet section of the paper for toy poodles and came over when she found one in Sydney she was so happy that she found a poodle for Kel RJ.
Shirl later moved to Coffs but we still kept intouch by phone .Kelly was diagnosed with BC in 2016 and Shirl would always ask how was Kel going when we spoke also ask how was my sister always thinking of others .I was only speaking to her the week before she passed I ask how she was going and Shirl being Shirl said not to bad taking it one day at a time ended our call by saying will talk again soon.. Will miss our phone calls and talking about our favourite topic our kids grandkids & grt grandkids. God Bless Shirl safe in the arms of Pete..

Dear beautiful Shirley, thank you for taking us under your wing as part of your family. You loved us all and treated us as your own and we count you as our mum and nan too. May you be reunited with all your loved ones on the other side now and continue your journey with much love and happiness. Weโ€™ll miss our chats but they can be continued when we meet again. Love you forever.

    Dear Nanny,

It still doesnโ€™t feel real that we have to say goodbye to you. you were such a huge part of our lives, and the world already feels different without you in it.
Thank you for every hug, every laugh, every piece of advice, and every memory you ever gave us.
You gave me so much courage. No matter what was happening, you were always there with kindness, strength and love.
Watching you become a greatgrandmother to my son jaxon was so special. The love you had for him was beautiful to see, Iโ€™m so thankful you got to be apart of his life, Iโ€™ll always be grateful that he got to know your warmth, your smile. He may be little but he will grow up hearing all about how amazing his great nanny was and how deeply she loved him.
I donโ€™t think anyone is ever truly ready to lose someone they love this much. But I know how lucky we all were to have had you. You gave us memories that weโ€™ll carry forever and a love that will never leave us.
I hope you knew just how loved you were not only as a nanny, but as the heart of our family.
We will miss you every single day.

    Ella, Jaxon

I first met Shirley when my very good school friend, Cherrie, invited me to her home. Shirley and Pete were so welcoming and always treated me like part of the family. Through my many visits and sleepovers as a teenager, and through everything I have learned since, I came to know what a truly beautiful and kind person she was, with a wicked sense of humour and a deep love for her family and friends.

Shirley was loved by so many because she gave so much love in return. She is now reunited with her true love, Pete.

May she rest in peace โค๏ธ
